Saturday, June 20th

Friday evening it started raining and thundering.  The thunder got pretty bad.  The Mutt, yes, Chance was shaking like a leaf.  I had to get into bed under the blanket so he could snuggle against my legs.  He won't get under the covers when it is thundering.  Eventually, he was against my back then for a short while laying on the pillow beside me.  The big baby.  He was shaking a lot.  Wasn't planning to sleep, just nap a little, woke up at 2:00 AM.  Haha.  The melatonin and magnesium glycinate has been helping a lot with the sleeping.  Slept a deep sleep.  No bad or weird dreams that I can remember.  Sitting here eating an apple and sipping on cappuccino.  Gotta start working on my list of programs I have and plan to put on my new computer coming.  Activation codes and such.  Try to streamline things a lot.  Expensive way to clean a system, haha.  Spend a lot of time on my desktop, so it seems like it will be a nice investment.  Might even do more with my videos.  Its got so many features and such that I don't use.  Anyway, I enjoy playing around with it.  Tons of programs to look at.  Some I need to input the activation code, some I have to download off the companies sites.  Anyway, need a list of things I need to prepare for.  I enjoy it.  Easier than years ago.  Just keep my fingers crossed.  You just never know when something will sneak up and create waves.  Mighty big apple.  Couple of more slices.  My Little Boo and her small little monkey.  Love my photo frames.  It is so nice Knowing and Understanding God and His ways.  Seems like most people have a little something missing inside.  No matter how put together they are or how great their lives are, that little piece that seems unsettled.  That won't let them rest and feel one with everything.  If I am nuts, I will take it.  Oh, there is still a little of that old me in me, but am getting better and better.  Accepting and understanding how He works with everything.  Anyway, a bath today, I hope.  Been pushing it off.  Oh, earlier Friday, I did go help my brother set up his TV, it was already on the wall.  Him and his family watches a lot of TV.  He loves his TV watching.  All the streaming services he has, but they use them.  He had a sound bar for the TV and I finally got it to paired up with Bluetooth.  A headphone symbol doesn't always mean an actual headphone, haha.  We both went through and got one of his services working: Netflix.  All the logins and stuff you got to do to get your services set up again, haha.  We finally got Netflix working so we could hear the sound.  Helped him with a remote for his bedroom TV.  Had to reset it.  Anyway, he was happy.  So, main object today, a bath.  That is a miracle in it self.  NEVER thought I would take a bath again.  The photos I saw of my toe still haunts me a little.  Never liked Alien.  The toe looked like an alien was coming out.  Haha.  Well, do have a great Saturday and weekend.  Take care, be safe.  God bless.  Nice not having a stinky mutt against my back.  Haha.  I know God is with Penelope; He is with us all.

TGIF, 6-19-26

 "The Electric State."  Boy, thought I had my bio clock worked out, but the thread of bad weather kinda threw it off.  Back to staying up all night.  Was a little worried about any flooding.  Thank God, here, it wasn't bad.  Got my project done.  Not the best, but OK and got it completed.  Did a little something on my niece's squirrel videos.  I thought it came out nice.  Spent awhile looking at a new computer.  One worth upgrading to.  Got a new Dell.  Intel's top processor, a better GPU card.  Will move a lot of stuff off my current computer onto the new computer.  Will see if one of my great-nephews might want my old, but not too old, computer after I move to the new one.  12-month interest free so shouldn't have an issue paying that off.  Sure will pay it off as soon as I can.  A lot more than I need for the little video editing I do but we only live once.  Will enjoy the little computer stuff to do to move my old computer stuff to my new system.  Streamline a lot of my old, unused computer programs and just set up the basic programs I use.  It'll take a little bit, but shouldn't be any major issues.  The speed increase should be a lot better for my video editing.  Give me something I enjoy doing, playing around with computers.  Shouldn't be like the old days, haha.  Times are better, technically and financially.  Still worrying about Penelope but sure she is doing well.  Learning more and more how to accept what life means.  How life relates to time?  How everything relates to God?  Trillions and trillions of galaxies in the universe.  God must be a pretty big guy.  Then, some scientists believe there are many universes out there.  YES, Chance is OK.  Ate his regular dog food this morning, earlier.  Have to reward him for that.  You all have a TGIF.  Take care, be safe.  God bless.

Almost Thursday, 6-18-26

 Diabetes is a BI.  The ups and downs.  Just try to find a balance.  Rain most of the day, probably a lot more on Thursday.  Took Chance out, thought I saw a fox jumping into the woods, orange color and a long tail, little white.  Chance chased into the woods but came back soon after.  Emails, news, have a project to finish, and this and that.  Basically, a regular day for me.  Have changed things some, but still long way to go to get things set up like they should be.  Just make it through another day.  Some strange dreams, last night was a wicked one, haha.  Like in an endless maze.  "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King."  The only one I really watch.  There is one Hobbit movie I like but don't watch too often.  Learning more and more about the ways of things.  Life, times, people, God, Time itself.  "The journey doesn't end here."  Interesting.  "White shores???"  Still more before the end of the movie.  Always learning something, haha.  And some relearning there a lot, too.  YES, Chance is OK.  Sacked out in his bed.  Soon will jump into the bed, I am sure.  The bum.  You all take care, be safe.  May the weather gods be on your side.  

Tuesday, night, 6-16-26

 Chance started after something on the floor.  Thought it was a roach.  Turned out to be a tree frog.  Oh, in the middle of the night.  It went under the dresser so I got a yard stick and a cup.  Couldn't find it.  Next thing I know it is climbing on the wall.  Got the cup and placed it over him.  He went in without an issue.  Took him outside and dropped him on the porch.  Hated the thought of him dying in the house.  We get tree frogs around the front door a lot.  One was on the inside of the glass door the other day.  Glad Chance didn't get him, haha.  Two relaxing days, hopefully, more to come, haha.  Saw some photos of my big toe and its wound from a few years ago.  Disgusting.  It was a big wound, crusted around the edges and looked like an alien coming out.  Looked too disgusting to post on FB.  Seemed like it changed from one photo to another.  Sure I took some at different times.  Memories.  Never took photos of the other wound I got on my other foot.  Fun times.  How I KNOW there is a God.  No way I could have gotten through it all with Him.  Still don't know how He keeps me going.  Relaxing has been nice.  Been sleeping better with the changes I have made with my meds and with the melatonin and magnesium.  Just the dreams I am getting now.  Janet and hers in a couple of them.  Strange.  Dreams don't really mean anything, except to Him?  Gotta take one day at a time.  Don't know when I will get over this relaxing time, haha.  My feet seem better.  If I stay on them too long and too much, they swell a little.  They are not swelling tonight.  "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."  "God made us in His image, who made him?"  God made us in His 'spiritual' image, not physical image.  Big difference.  Anyway,  not sure why a little tree frog had to come into my life.  Wasn't planning on writing.  Rainy week.  Rain most of the day, but stopped.  Don't need another 2016.  You all take care, be safe.  God bless.  Now, to go back to being lazy.  Gotta love her.

Sunday, 6-14-26

 The magnesium and melatonin at night seems to be helping.  And not staying up all night.  Waiting for clothes to dry.  Been to Sam's.  Got a fan, almost all plastic.  Two year warranty.  Hope it lasts that long.  All kinds of nuts for the pantry.  Like nibbling on them here and there.  On the way home, got message from Walmart Pharmacy.  Had some medicine that was due.  Decided to stop and check on them.  Had three that could be done.  So I waited.  Little rack thing for counter and zero sugar Sprite.  Prices are something else.  But can't complain.  One medicine I was paying $50 for is now zero.  So, no complain.  Got every thing picked up and put together.  Again, just waiting for clothes to dry and a package from Amazon.  Some more melatonin, only have some old gummy one now.  Some sugar free syrup which I seldom use, but why wait a trip.  And another box of cappuccino, different from my last box.  I like a variety.  Don't know if I will do the clothes all at one time but will see.  Had to take the old fan out this morning.  Wasn't too bad.  Put it with all the junk on the old porch.  Except for the love of my life being taken away, I can't complain.  She seems to be doing good.  That is what is important.  I have had a good life.  People mostly talk a big game, but a rare few actually mean what they say.  I know a couple.  Clothes should be ready.  UGH.  Later.  Must have a sensor thing or something on it.  Still drying???  Time seems to have increased, haha.  Oh, my.  Later.  Dealt with a student issue.  Wasn't too much.  Trying to add a class past the cutoff date.  She is getting in, I believe.  Clothes finished drying.  I was able to fold, hang, and put away all the clothes without pooping out.  That tells you there is a God.  Don't know why He takes care of me, but He knows.  Can't guess what it was, haha.  Might do some weights and walk, but bad weather is coming and I don't want to turn it into a hurricane.  Haha.  Guess I should be appreciative for the time He gave me with Penelope.  Well, going to wait for the Amazon package.  Well, think it might be here now.  Chance is up, but he is slowing down, haha.  So, maybe not.  Debate whether I should run the risk of starting a hurricane.  Hehe.  Do have a nice night.  Take care, be safe.  God bless.  That little old Italian man saying that the little silver hair I had on my temple as a  baby was good luck was right.  I have been lucky in life.  YES, Chance is doing good.  The bum.  Would teach him how to do laundry, but someone needs to teach me first, haha.  I can get by, hehe.  Guess I can post more than one photo with my blog?
