Saturday, 8/22

What a day.  Went in the school for awhile.  A/C wasn't working well.  Stopped at Sam's on the way home.  Bottled water and tea.  No strawberries and only Member Mark brand tea, which isn't as good as Lipton's.  Couple of other things, hehe.  Prices, worse and worse.  Cleaned the filter on the A/C in the bedroom.  Cooling better, haha.  After picking everything up, let the Mutt out and noticed it was 79 degrees inside.  Wow!!!  The thermometer got kicked up to 85.  Put it back down to 73.  Central A/C is cooling, so hope it was only the electric going out yesterday for awhile???  Will see.  When will it start cooling?  Still not sure why God takes care of me, but guess isn't my place to question it.  Just be glad He does.  And it is so nice to be able to stand on my own two feet, literally.  Walked up the porch steps normally carrying some light groceries.  Able to stand without leaning on something or sitting down all the time.  Never thought I would ever do that again.  Guess it is time to get ready for Monday.  Later.  Working on school stuff going fine.  Had a package delivered today: Beggin' Strips included.  Sam's didn't have any the other day.  Chance still thinks sometimes I am going to take his food back???  He gets good treats, but ain't for me, haha.  Lovebugs are back.  Had to pick one up that got between the doors, glass storm door and front door, and throw it outside.  Boy, stupid or kind-hearted or both?  Just finished a movie where one of the characters said, "Seeing is believing."  My question, do we only see with our eyes???  Can our spirit, our soul, also, see.  See, spiritually.  "God is all around us, if only we look," - sle.  A few photos on Google Photos.  A few new to me, too, hehe.  Do have a nice afternoon, great evening and night.  Restful sleep and flunky dreams, hehe.  Take care, be safe.  God bless.  Still more school work to go.  My classroom might get moved, will see tomorrow.

TGIF, night, 8/21/26.  Survived another Mutt attack, haha.  Started thundering and I had to get off the computer and take a nap.  The Mutt is getting worse I think, haha.  Took all the stuff out of the cabinets in the kitchen, now, putting stuff back and junking a lot.  Debating if having a healthy foot is worth it, haha.  It is doing great.  Lot of stuff I don't know what it is, but will make it through it.  Still some to do.  May junk a lot of old seasoning stuff, etc. that I don't use.  And will never use.  Have some Tupperware, but might get a little more later.  Other stuff just don't seem as good.  May have to start working on my classroom material for Monday.  I seem to wait until the last minute most of the time, haha.  "Love is in the Air."  One of the movies I like for keeping Netflix.  Still a ton of scenes I haven't seen, yet, haha.  The Mutt seems to be getting pickier and pickier with his food.  Day of reckoning is coming!!!  Do have a great weekend.  Hope your days aren't as hot.  Been noticing and reading articles about lost cities being found that tie into the bible.  Kinda interesting.  Old things are always being found around the world.  Love when they find gold, haha.  Jewelry, gems, too.  I keep reminding myself there are more things more important than money.  Like I don't know, haha.  I could be on the Riviera if it wasn't for this Mutt and the money he costs me.  Don't think Penelope will ever pay her bill on him, haha.  He is such a good dog.  Well, like watching the movie, but may go out and work on the kitchen???  Take care, be safe.  God bless.  Oh, my stewed tomatoes soup came out pretty good.  Used canned chicken breast, may have to use shrimp one day.  The soup is pretty versatile.

Details, details, details.  Those little details do add up, if you catch them, haha.  Got my classes published and intro emails to students sent out.  Just need to submit some documents to the division, but links aren't up, yet.  Then, prepare for classes Monday and the rest of the week.  Probably, work on the kitchen a little more.  Clean out most of the cabinets and rearrange them.  Decide how I am going to continue my Enchantresses project with Gemini and Fold???  Well, hope your TGIF is going well.  Yes, Chance is doing well.  Still drives me crazy, haha.  Well, at least, I can blame it on him.  Haha.  Take care, be safe, God bless.  Have a ton of photos with flowers.  And millions with Penelope, haha.  My creative juices might be running out, haha.  Have to make some changes in the way I look at some things.  Most people will never understand God.  Don't get defensive.  To each their own.  We are just players in the game???  

Thursday, early, early, early morning

Thursday, early, early, early morning.  End of "To Catch A Thief."  Do love my shrimp and cocktail sauce.  In the morning, going with a desert cake cup covered by strawberries with whipped cream topping, with meal replacement drink.  Will see how that will work out.  Good so far.  Classes are ready to go, I believe.  Minor little things to do before Monday, like welcome emails, with syllabus, Assignment Dates and Checklist.  Have to submit some documents by Friday.  They are ready, but the submission links are not up, yet.  Work on my Enchantresses project tomorrow.  Want a whole day to work on it.  Later today.  Nice day, peaceful day.  Pest control service did spray the outside of the house.  Waste Management didn't pick up the garbage.  Had to call them.  HOT!  Over 100, again.  Gemini is giving issues with how many videos I can produce without having to wait hours for it to reset.  Going to try switching to Google Flow.  Flow uses credits???  Starting to clean out some cabinets in the kitchen.  More to go.  Junk a lot, reorganize the rest.  Do have a great night, sleep tight.  Dream well.  God bless.  "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes."

Wednesday, afternoon

Sitting here snacking on a few shrimp and cocktail sauce.  Was down somewhat yesterday afternoon and throughout, but slowly stayed out of getting too bad.  Learning that I got another class for an overload (extra money), helped a little.  And knowing today was payday helped, too.  The extra class was great, in that, I already had another section, so just had to copy it and not much more.  Still one class to finish and it is almost done, but I just can't jump the hurdle, yet, haha.  Going to finish my shrimp and, then, bite the bullet and finish my bank stuff and my last class.  Slept great.  Doing great, except for the heat.  YES, the Mutt is doing good.  Later.  Details, details, details.  UGH!!!  Later.  Getting there.  Had to use Gemini again and, naturally, small issue, but changed the level and the other level worked fine.  Back to work, ugh.  Hehe.  Well, finishing up creating an exam but running into a math issue, questions x pts. per question = total pts.  Got to get them to match up with 4 chapters of T/F and M/C.  Just got to keep working on it.  Still rather making exams than taking them, haha.  Google Photos had a few photos.  Take care, be safe, God bless.  Learning to enjoy life more and more.  Past, Present, and Future???  Understanding and accepting Him more and more for who He is???  

Tuesday, evening

Tuesday evening, nice day.  Meeting at school went well.  Came straight home.  Started working on my school sites.  Got a downing feeling.  Not depression, but a great feeling of being down.  Trying to fight it off.  I kept working.  Almost finished 4 of my classes.  One more to go.  Wasn't sure it was going to make, but think they are going to keep it.  Mind is wondering???  Got "Maverick" on sale, see if that might.  Some nice photos today on Google Photos' highlights.  Well, do have a great evening and night.  Take care, be safe.  God bless.  Yes, Mutt is doing great and still driving me crazy.  

Monday evening and night

"Highlander."  I do like it.  The old series was nice, too, for awhile.  Can't judge AI for other people, but it sure can make things a lot easier and FASTER.  Just gotta learn how to make good prompts and remember it ain't perfect.  Do like Sean Connery in the movie, but he wasn't in it for too long.  And the gift at the end is kinda funky.  Do like Christopher Lambert in it, too.  Never watched the other Highlander movies.  The bad guy in it was GREAT.  The presentation today talked a little about generations: Gen Z and the new Alpha.  I believe, I am a Baby Boomer.  The thing, yes, different generations but the kid, people, are ALL the same as before, throughout history.  The different generations are more a cultural thing, what is acceptable, not acceptable; what is in, what is out; what is trending, what is not trending; new terms vs. old terms.  The kids, ALL the same.  They might get molded a little different, but inside, their nature, is all the same.  Nice not having that feeling of wanting new electronic stuff, I got just about everything I need and the feeling just ain't there.  Got a lot I don't use.  Feeling is just different.  iPhone 18 Pro Max, might wait until the 19, or 20 because they might skip 19.  Think the 20th anniversary is next year for the iPhone???  Later.  Oh, tried another flavor today with my meal replacement: Irish Cream.  Good.  Tried Coconut yesterday.  Need to get the right mix: correct teaspoons.  Got three more other flavor to try.  Big bottles, so should last for a long time.  Going through Google Photos and saw a day, a few days back, ago that just kept running on and on with photos.  Forgot I uploaded my Flickr photos to Google.  Putting a lot of them here, not sure how many FB will let me upload.  Some VERY interesting photos.  Wasn't really going to download any until I saw a photo of my Aunt Lillian in a swimsuit so I downloaded it.  And kept going and going.  Finally, got tired picking out ones that stood out or I had a feeling to download.  Photos cover a ton of families.  One more movie, then maybe bed.  Do have a great Tuesday.  Take care, be safe.  God bless.  Know Bridget and Dee will like some of the photos.  A couple of photos show where I get my big ears from, UGH!!!  Hope some people enjoy them.  

Monday, afternoon

Whew.  Got up a little earlier today for school.  Some traffic, but not too bad.  They had breakfast in the gym, then had to walk to the Magnolia Building for the auditorium.  The Chancellor is a 'Cool Cat' as they would say in the 60's.  Nice presentation and show, haha.  He had a DJ playing music throughout, here and there, with his presentation.  He did some dancing on the stage and, one time, got some people on the stage to do something from "Soul Train."  The people doing some dance moves between people as the lines kept moving.  Anyway, it was nice.  They had presentation sessions for throughout the day, but I could only do one of them.  It was a nice presentation by a few people from a school dept.  It was nice.  But, now days, I pace myself more.  Could have stayed and wore myself down, but decide to stop for gas, almond milk, and of course, picked up a couple of other things, haha.  Then, went to Walmart for my Ozempic.  I could always feel the difference between being hot from heat and being hot from my diabetes, but never did anything about it.  Now, I take a glucose tablet instead of pushing it.  By time I grow up a little bit, haha.  Got everything picked up, wasn't too much.  Now, feeling some dragging coming on, haha.  Starting to drag a little.  Should sleep well, tonight.  In the gym, me and an econ professor sat and talked.  Nice guy.  Had a nice conversation.  Then, a couple more econ professors showed up.  All nice people.  Tomorrow, a division meeting.  Tomorrow, get to go in a little later.  BOY, another HOT day.  Over a hundred again here.  After tomorrow, I should be able to finish up all my Canvas classes, I hope.  It is all coming along great.  I couldn't have screwed up a couple of times, but didn't, haha.  Do love my photos and videos.  Penelope had a couple of videos on Google Photos highlights I liked.  She has a ton of them, haha.  Well, have a good afternoon, evening and a great night.  Sleep tight and dream of riches.  True riches.  Take care, be safe, God bless.  

Saturday, evening

"Arriving at one goal is the starting point to another."  My last fortune cookie from a couple of weeks ago.  How true, except for me, maybe exchange 'goal' with project, haha.  Dog is still eating.  Been to my desk about a half-dozen times already.  Ugh.  Haha.  Later.  Am starting to think if I should upgrade to the new iPhone 18 Pro Max.  Will have to keep an eye on it.  It will have a couple of new features I might like better: brighter screen (for outside, I hope) and changes in the camera system.  Will keep watching.  Gravitational waves, I think, is a misnomer.  More like a ripple than a wave.  Like a pond.  The top of the water has waves, when something disturbs the water underneath the wave, it is more like a ripple than a wave.  But simply, a laymen's view.  A ripple in aether. The issue with space-time, is that, can space change?  Look at a gallon container for milk.  The space inside cannot change.  It is more of an aether structure.  As for 'time', I could be here all night, haha.  Later.  The kids today should appreciate modern technology.  It ain't perfect, but then, what is.  But it does make things a lot quicker.  Did a lot on my Canvas sites in a few hours which would have taken days and days in the past.  Time for a break.  Later.  "The Longest Day."  Normandy, war is hell.  Time back to work.  Think I am over the hurdle.  Should be all downhill now.  "The Taming of the Shrew."  Not the biggest fan of Elizabeth Taylor, but she is great in this one.  Saw her on Johnny Carson on FB.  Seemed like a nice person.  Richard Burton is great in this one, too.  He was really a great actor.  Love most of the English old actors.  Such characters.  Funny, the only movie I really watched Burton in was "Beckett".  The only other movie, "Zulu", I like him 'in' was "Zulu" which he only narrated in.  He didn't play a part.  "Braveheart."  Not sure if I will finish the movie.  Debate: keep working or get a little sleep.  Will see.  Have a blessed day on His day of rest.  Take care, be safe.  I did move a couple of webcams a little.  Moved my hot plate near my monitor.  More stable.
